It gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone to the Canadian International Organ Competition, including the competitors who are about to take you on a musical journey, carried on the magical and haunting melodies of the organ.

Here in Canada, it is our great fortune to be able to call these magnificent organs and extraordinarily talented organists our own. This international competition will give audiences the opportunity to enjoy world-class performances by young organists who have already earned international reputations and who will make this event a resounding success, giving enthusiasts of organ music moments of pure delight.
