Federico Andreoni was born in Milan, Italy. At the age of 25, he performed the complete works of Bach in a series of 16 recitals. In 2005, he performed the complete organ works of French composer Jehan Alain. He has recorded for French, Italian and Swiss radio and television broadcasts. At present he is pursuing a double Master's degree in Organ Performance and Theory at McGill University, Montreal, where he was awarded the Salsinger Tani Gold Medal in Music Performance in 2007. Before moving to Canada, he obtained diplomas in piano and organ from the International Music Academy in Milan, with further studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Geneva. There he was awarded the Premier Prix de Virtuosité and the Prix Spécial Otto Barblan.
